Nigel has appeared on TV several times with various different trucks that he has built over the years. Take a look below at some of those appearances.
MONSTROUS STREET TRUCK
Top Gear 1992
The first ever street modified monster truck built by Nigel was featured on an episode of Top Gear way back in 1992. Lisa can even been seen in the background as an extra playing croquet with Jeremy Clarkson!
2.4 Children 1992
This endearing series which ran in the nineties featured Nigel's street Monster Truck 'Monstrous' in one particular episode, where the young son falls ill and loves to play with his toy monster truck. At the end of the episode he is seen leaving hospital playing with his remote controlled truck, only to be greeted outside by his dad with the real thing – Monstrous!!
SCRAPHEAP CHALLENGE
In early 2001 Nigel was approached by the ever popular TV series Scrapheap Challenge. They wanted a 'monster truck' expert to head a team and help build a monster truck out of scrap. Nigel flew to LA in the April to begin filming where temperatures were in the high 30's! His friends, Bob Chandler and Jim Kramer, were also flown out - Bob as a judge on the show, and Jim as a consultant.
Whilst facing stiff competition from the other contestants, Nigel and his team know as the 'Mule Rights' (an American team of Mill Rights) laboured long and hard to produce a monster machine that whilst lacking any form of rear suspension, still powered Nigel at the wheel to victory!
WILDCHILD
TV commercial Walkers Crisps - 2002
Wild Child spent a day filming for this commercial for the famous Walkers Crisps. The advert was screened in cinemas for many months.
Music video for Shane Lynch and Mike Duffy 2002
Wildchild was featured in the music video that accompanied the above song. It featured Shane Lynch and Keith Duffy of Boyzone fame.
Celebrity - 2002
This was a show all about celebrity news and featured Wild Child and the filming of Shane Lynch and Keith Duffy's music video for their cover song of 'Girl You Know It's True'.
Ant and Dec Show, January, 2003
Members of the audience had their wishes granted and in this episode it was to drive a monster truck!

In this TV show Monstrous attempted to inflict destruction on their long term Mercedes test car. Despite the trucks best efforts the Mercedes survived – badly dented!

BIGFOOT #17
Bigfoot & Friends - Men and Motors 2003 and on...
This was a TV series to cover the dawn of monster truck racing in Europe. It was hosted by Nigel and was aired on Men and Motors for many years, eventually being chopped down into 10 minute segments and shown repeatedly due to its incredible popularity.
Hell 4 Leather - 2004
Here Gladiator Jane Omoragbe (Rio) came to the Hop Farm in Kent to do a feature on Monster Truck Racing. It was Round 6 of the EMTRC and she also got to drive Bigfoot!!
Balamory 2005
Childrens TV show. PC Plumb and Miss Hoolie come to Truckfest Scotland to see the monster trucks!!
Budweiser Advert - 2005
Bigfoot 17 filmed a TV advert for the 2005 Football League. The object of the advert was to give it an American feel, so instead of a brass band at half time two monster trucks came out playing with a giant football!
Braniac - 2006
A children's TV show presented by Richard Hammond of Top Gear fame. This episode set out to show the audience just how indestructible an aeroplanes black box was. It was placed in a car and then crushed by Bigfoot. The black box was unharmed!

Shanes World – 2006
Shane Lynch from the famous boy band Boyzone had his own TV series where he got to drive his dream cars and take part in motorsports that he was interested in. Shanes own vehicle, a street modified Toyota Hi Lux, modified by Nigel's company LA Supertrux was also featured in this show.
Sky 1's 'The Race' – 2006
This TV series featured famous celebrities such as Nigel Benn, Miss Dynamite, Ingrid Tarrant and Gary Newman to name a few. Each day, for two weeks, the celebrities were challenged to drive different machines and compete in a race with the other team. One episode of this featured monster trucks and we are now famous for the fact that Ingrid Tarrant rolled Bigfoot 17 and caused £1000's of pounds worth of damage. Thankfully she was unharmed and it took Nigel nearly four months solid work to rebuild Bigfoot 17. Photographs of this incident appeared in every national newspaper the next day as well as Hello Magazine.
Vroom Vroom with Emma Parker Bowles – 2006
Emma had to go through a series of driving challenges on this show. One day the challenge was to see if she could master driving a monster truck efficiently enough to gain her class B driving license, which she did. Well done Emma!
The One Show, April 2008
The BBC's popular early evening One Show featured Bigfoot in April 2008 when they had an episode about tyres. The show ended on a humorous note with Bigfoot running over, and crushing, what was apparently to be presenter Adrian Chiles bicycle!
The Gadget Show, August 2008 Channel 5
In this episode The Gadget show were testing protective cases for carrying fragile equipment such as cameras etc. The cases were placed inside two cars which Bigfoot then crushed several times. The cases remained intact and the goods were unharmed!
