Lisa and Nigel are totally devastated at loosing their very old, and very close friend and fellow Monster Truck Driver, Karl Swallow, who sadly passed away suddenly late Monday evening.
We have spent many years in each others company, from the early beginnings of street monster trucks in the early 1990's to building full sized monster trucks and racing them in the naughties.
Life took us all through many ups and downs but, our friendship survived all that life had to throw at it, until we were more like family. Never more so than the past three and half years where we were both performing at all the Truckfest Shows across the UK. We would spend these weekends together, helping each other out if the trucks broke, or, if they did not, we would talk and laugh or reminisce about the 'old days'.
We have been part of each others lives for 20 odd years and to loose such an old friend is going to leave a hole that can never be filled. Our 'monster trucking' weekends away will be a very sad affair from now.
Karl, with a heavy heart we let you go to a better place - a place where we hope you can go full throttle and soar into the clouds like you always loved to do.
