BIGFOOT #17’s 2008 European Monster Truck Racing Championship came to a close at Santa Pod Raceway on Sunday. The event was billed as the finals, and the finals it was, with just two trucks in contention for the series win. Santa Pod’s own truck Podzilla with former BIGFOOT® team driver Drew Thornton at the wheel and three time EMTRC Champions BIGFOOT® #17 and Nigel Morris.

The EMTRC is delighted to announce the appointment of two new non-executive directors to the board. Karl Swallow (Slingshot) and Sally Smith (Supercharger). The addition of these two key people adds new depth to the organisation & structure of the EMTRC, widening its appeal beyond that envisaged by its originators Ian Batey and Nigel Morris.
